About 10-12 cm (4-5 in.).

Shrimpmix.

Minimum 300 litres (65 gal.).
Habitat
Found in rocky habitats at depths between 1 and 25 meter (3-80 ft.).
Breeding
Easy to spawn like most mbunas.
General
Metriaclima callainos occurs in three different races. The "Bright Blue" or "Cobolt Zebra" where both males and females are light blue, the "Pearl Zebra" where both males and females are pearl white. The last race is the OB-morph which have black blotches on a pink-blue body, in this race also complete white males occurs, they are equivalent to marmelade cats for this speices.
Distribution
Found at the northwest coast from Kande Island to Ngara, and at the northeast coast between Ikombe and the Ruhuhu River. It is also introduced around Thumbi West Island and Maleri Island where it have estabished numerous populations.
