Mask-Cichlid.

Size
Males could reach 15 cm (6 in.), female maximum 13 cm (5 in.).

Food
The natural feed consists of different kind of small invertebrates.

Aquarium
At least 200 litres, arranged with many caves.

Habitat
Found in rocky habitat rich of sediment at depths between 5 and 15 meter.

Breeding
If you find a pair which works together it's fairly easy to breed this substrate spawner. The spawning takes place in narrow caves.

General
Chalinochromis brichardi is rather aggressive against equals, because of that it's recommended to start with a smaller group of fishes.

Distribution
Found at several locations all around the Lake Tanganyika.
