Who is the author of this site?

I who am creating this site am called Michael Persson and I am living in Höganäs, which is in the southernmost part of Sweden. I'm born in 1969 and I've been a cichlid-hobbyist since I was about 10 years old. I started like most other hobbyists with a community tank, that were inhabited by for example Guppys, tetras, Swordtails and Loaches.
It didn't take long before I started to being interested in cichlids, my first cichlids were Pelvicachromis pulcher. A short period of time after that I also got Julidochromis ornatus, which was my first Tanganyika cichlid.
All since then I've been keeping cichlids from Lake Tanganyika and Lake Malawi. During several years I was breeding different species of Julidochromis and shell-dwelling cichlids from Lake Tanganyika in my parent's basement until I moved the tanks home to myself, there I most bred Malawi cichlids. The last years I have almost exclusively been keeping Malawi cichlids, but sometimes I feel to get hold of some Tanganyika cichlids again. Because I nowadays are trying to keep a limited number of aquariums there unfortunately aren't any room for Tanganyika cichlids, but in the future I hope to get some of them again.
At the turn of the year between 1996-97 I started the work with this site, this work also had contributed to an increased interest for cichlids.
During the autumn year 2000 my girlfriend and me fulfilled a dream of mine and made a journey to Lake Malawi and visited the famous cichlid exporter Stuart Grant. We did a trip by boat to Cape Maclear and the Maleri Islands with Stuart's boat Lady Louise, during the trip we were snorkelling and watching cichlids. Carolina that also is a good photographer has contributed with pictures for this site.
Please help me to make this site even better. I gladly receive your review and please tell me what could be improved, what's missing or if you find something wrong.
