Size
10-12 cm (4-5 in.), females a bit smaller.

Shrimpmix.
Aquarium
At least 300 litres (65 gal.).
Habitat
This species is found in the intermediate zone between rocky and sandy floors at a depth between 10-25 metres (33-82 ft.).
Breeding
Fairly easy to spawn.
General
Aulonocara stuartgranti is living in schools. The species has got it's name from the cichlidexporter Stuart Grant in Malawi. It is a nice and beautiful cichlid that don't like too lively company in the tank. There are many local variants with different colourations.
Distribution
Found between Chizi Point and Ngara at the northwest coast. At the east coast it is represented from Ruhuhu river in the north all the way down to the border between Moçambique and Malawi in the south.
